Healthy snickers pie

For this week we have a recipe for those of you who are a fan of snickers but want to opt for a healthier recipe. This recipe is from Bárbara Oliveira and is made up of only vegetarian ingredients. A great option for the greedy on that side!


  • 200g oat flakes ⠀

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter ⠀

  • 200g dates ⠀

  • 50 + 250 ml water ⠀

  • 2g agar agar ⠀

  • 150g dark chocolate ⠀

  • 100g + 160g coconut milk ⠀

  • Peanuts to taste⠀

  • Salt to taste


  • Start by letting the pitted hydrate. ⠀

  • Put the oats, peanut butter and 50ml of water in a food processor and grind. Place into the bottom of a base with a removable bottom and cover everything with your hands. ⠀

  • Add to the hydrated dates 100g coconut milk and the agar-agar. Mix it all (with the water you hydrated the dates with) and place it on top of the base. ⠀

  • Place the tart in the fridge while you do the last step.

  • Melt the chocolate with 160g coconut milk and leave to cool slightly, stirring constantly. Arrange on top of the date puree. ⠀

  • Then add peanuts and salt.
